Process
description
For this project, I researched a variety of blog, journal-type and lifestyle apps in terms of their usability, design and overall experience. With the help of a PACT Analysis, which allows you to explore behavioural, psychological, and contextual uses of an app, I developed the application flow and wireframed a user case scenario.
The design echoes the website in terms of colour palette and textures, but the typography was swapped out for fonts which are better suited for mobile apps. Material.io’s Accessibility tools aided in colour and type treatment. The app includes blog posts about healthy eating, recipes, sustainable living, adventure, travel and Moyo updates. The app allows you to favourite posts, share posts, and perform specific searches.
